Welcome to the overview of the fifth annual Women's Research Engagement Network Summit! This event is the first interdisciplinary research conference in the nation specifically focused on highlighting the achievements of undergraduate women. Our attendees join us for a day of events focused on female empowerment, women in academia, and celebrating the achievements of women at Northeastern.

Keynote Speaker:
Professor Suzanne Garverich

Suzanne Garverich, MPH is a faculty member in the Department of Health Sciences and the Coordinator of the WRENxHealth Equity Interns at Northeastern University. Her research interests are centered on public mental health and research ethics, utilizing mixed-methods and community-based participatory research to improve behavioral health services and strategic planning for underserved populations.

Naloxone Outreach and Education Initiative (NOEI)
- The Naloxone Outreach and Education Initiative (NOEI) is a community-focused organization at Northeastern University dedicated to providing life-saving harm reduction training and Naloxone education to ensure a safer, judgment-free environment for all.

NUSci Magazine
- NuSci is Northeastern University’s student-run science publication that bridges the gap between complex research and the public, with a current focus on examining the representation and impact of women scientists within modern media.

CHLD Initiative
- The CHLD Initiative is a clinical outreach program focused on neurovascular health that empowers the community with preventative care knowledge and the essential skills needed to recognize and respond to stroke symptoms.
