Neurodevelopmental Dynamics (NDD) Lab — Volunteer Research Assistant

About the Position & Lab

The Neurodevelopmental Dynamics (NDD) Lab conducts multidisciplinary research at the intersection of science, engineering, and clinical health. Our goal is to better understand and augment communication with individuals with complex neurodevelopmental differences, including those with autism, intellectual disabilities, rare genetic disorders, and those who have non- or minimal spoken speech.

We are looking for a volunteer research assistant for the summer or fall semester, with the opportunity to extend based on fit. You will be trained and trusted to handle identifiable data with the highest level of care, compassion, and confidentiality. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can clean participant data, actively contribute to team meetings, communicate clearly, offer thoughtful feedback, and integrate constructive guidance. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, thinks critically about communication science disorder research, and is passionate about advancing research for vulnerable and underserved populations.
